Jack Purcell Meats first opened its doors in 1943, with a single small shop in the Brisbane suburb of Northgate. Over the years Jack Purcell became the Friendly Local Butcher, servicing his customers with fresh cuts daily.Today, the company has grown considerably yet still remains a well known, recognised and respected family business with Paul Purcell as Managing Director.
Jack Purcell Meats' quailty and consistency of service is widely recognised. This is reflected in their wide and varied client base which includes regular customer patronage, major entertainment venues, hospitals, hotels, restaurants, etc.
Jack Purcell Meats has embraced new ideas to expand its business. During the last 3 years Jack Purcell Meats has dramatically expanded its operations and today supplies a wide range of meat and meat-related products, both to butchers and to individual customers.
